The FS-1 Scale Reduction Filter Element is designed for scale, corrosion, chlorine, taste and odor reduction. This innovative cartridge provides controlled release of Siliphos, a food grade scale and corrosion inhibitor. Controlled release provides effective scale and corrosion protection for the life of the cartridge. The Siliphos is combined with a catalytic activated carbon; thus preventing bonding and caking, common with granular poly-phosphate cartridges.
