The Phoenix carbon filter is designed specifically to work with the Phoenix gravity water filtration systems. This activated carbon block filter is a proprietary matrix comprised of activated carbon derived from natural coconut husks and carbon adsorbents. The dense pore structure of less than 1 micron and vast surface area is capable of removing virtually all of some 200+ potential drinking water contaminants to levels in excess of 99%.

This unique carbon block filter will adsorb a wide variety of organic and inorganic drinking water contaminants and provides essentially complete reduction of pathogenic organisms, chlorine, chloramines, nitrates, fluoride, aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, nickel, zinc, tri-halomethanes, a wide range of volatile organic compounds, micro-plastics and PFOA & PFOS.  

These 2-3/8" x 8" filters are very easy to install with no tools and are sold as a package of two filters. They're designed to last up to 12 months before needing replacement. And they can be used interchangeably with most competitor-type gravity filter systems.
